Our scholars Barbara A. Perry and Marc Selverstone sit down with author Thomas Oliphant to discuss Kennedy’s rise to the presidency and his continued legacy at the 100th anniversary of his birth.
Thomas Oliphant was the Washington correspondent and a columnist for The Boston Globe. His new book, The Road to Camelot from Simon & Schuster, is “a behind-the-scenes, revelatory account of John F. Kennedy’s wily campaign to the White House, beginning with his bold, failed attempt to win the vice presidential nomination in 1956.”
There will be a book signing after the event.
